Heating

Heat problems

Lack of heat in in-floor heating or radiators can be due to several things.
It can e.g. be due to:

  • Air in radiator / underfloor heating.
  • Valve stuck.
  • Gasket to be replaced.

You can do these three things yourself; see evt. here for guidance.
However, it should be noted that the vent valve looks different on our radiators.
But it is easily recognizable and sits on the opposite side of the regulator.

If you still have problems after trying these things, you should contact the board at bestyrelsen@akdtu.dk.

Noisy radiator

If the radiator is noisy, it is a sign that there is air in it.
To solve this you need to vent it.
How this is done is explained in this video.
However, it should be noted that the vent valve looks different on our radiators.
But it is easily recognizable and sits on the opposite side of the regulator.
